Celebrating 10 years of Existence

This year the Existence Community will celebrate 10 years since the launch of our first server, now known as Legacy Season 1.

10 years is an incredible feat for any online community, and we are looking to celebrate in style.

Over the coming months, we will be planning just how we’re going to celebrate this milestone on the Existence Community Discord Server. Discord members, please keep an eye out for the anniversary-planning forum channel!

The Year that was 2025

2025 was another incredible year for Existence—with the launch of Community Server 3, we have seen amazing builds and creations from the community, along with a number of player lead events and activities.

Our community has become closer than ever off the back of Community Server 2; we have seen continued growth and evolving dynamics that really put the “Community” in “Community Server”.

Throughout the year, Community Server 3 solidified itself as the new home of Existence for the foreseeable future. Many community projects are underway with long term plans ensuring the server continues to be enjoyed for many Minecraft updates to come.

Prior to the launch of Community Server 3, we celebrated 9 years of Existence by holding a classic Ultra Hardcore PVP battle—making use of the datapack utilised in 2024 for the Reunion UHC.

Slight modifications were made—to group players in teams of 3—leading to some great memories and moments of triumph.

This was one of our best UHC events to date, with some fantastic gameplay and super fun rematches. 2026 will see the fifth and potentially final Reunion UHC as we look to host more community-wide UHC events going forward!

Bluer Skies 🦋

During 2025, we pushed to tidy up and improve the Existence social media presence—with a big part of that being the move away from Twitter.

In April we officially said goodbye to the platform after 8 years and setup on Bluesky where we have been showcasing featured moments from Community Server 3.

The Year that is 2026

There are a lot of exciting things to come for Existence as we go full speed into 2026. Not only will we be celebrating our 10th anniversary but Community Server 3 continues to progress and grow in a way that might just see us celebrating again in 2036 🎉

I feel very lucky to be a part of a community full of so many amazing people and close friends; I hope that we can look back on our history fondly and build the next chapter for Existence together.

With every year, we’re always on the look out for future project servers to dive into. There’s continued interest in the Create Mod which may see another server, along with the potential for other games such as Hytale—anything is possible.
